Oatmeal is a culinary prose. But many are mistaken in claiming that the best dish from it is porridge with milk and raisins or homemade oatmeal cookies.
There is one recipe that will fill you with positivity and useful substances.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook oatmeal with coconut milk.
You will need:
- oatmeal - 1 cup;
- coconut - ½;
- banana - 1 pc.;
- berries to taste;
- sugar or honey.
How to cook
1. Pour hot water over the oatmeal and leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
2. Grate half of the coconut pulp or chop it with a blender.
3. You can mash the banana with a fork or cut it into cubes.
4. Pour coconut milk into the steamed oatmeal, add coconut flakes, bananas and berries, and sugar or natural honey to taste.
Serve to the table - you don't need to cook this porridge. Enjoy your meal!
