In addition to mushrooms, meat and fish, frozen vegetables can be stored here. If you happen to come across some eggplants, don’t rush to move them to another shelf.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare an appetizing appetizer of eggplants with cheese.
You will need:
- eggplant - 1 pc.;
- processed cheese - 100 g;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- vegetable oil;
- sour cream - 1 tbsp;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- salt, black pepper to taste.
How to cook
1. Eggplants can be whole or frozen in cubes – these will even be easier to cook. Whole vegetables will have to be peeled and cut.
2. Peel the onion, cut into cubes, fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
3. Separately, fry the eggplants in a frying pan for 15 minutes, then add the fried onions.
4. Chop the processed cheese – it’s easier to mash it with a fork. Add to the pan with the vegetables and cook until the cheese is completely melted.
5. Now add sour cream, press the garlic, add salt and pepper to taste, stir and let the snack cool.
Keep in the refrigerator and serve with croutons. Enjoy!
