Ingredients for the dough

  • flour - 400 g;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • honey - 60 g;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • sugar - 150 g;
  • sour cream - 2 tbsp;
  • soda - 1/2 tsp.

How to make honey cake layers

The butter should be cut into cubes and then mixed with sugar and honey.

The mass must be melted in a water bath until the sugar is completely dissolved. As soon as the preparation is removed from the heat, you can add soda.

After 5 minutes, stir in the eggs and sour cream.

At the end, add the sifted flour.

The dough should be left in the refrigerator for several hours.

Afterwards, it should be rolled into a sausage and divided into 6-8 equal parts. Each part should be rolled into a thin circle.

The cakes need to be baked in a hot frying pan for about 3-5 minutes.

Grease the finished honey cake layers with sour cream, which is extremely easy to prepare. You just need to beat 600 g of sour cream, 100 g of sugar and about 10 g of vanilla sugar.

The cake needs to be placed in the refrigerator for a few hours to soak.
