It’s a great idea to start the morning with oatmeal, but in the classic version – with water or milk – this dish doesn’t inspire enthusiasm.

We offer a hearty and healthy option for preparing oatmeal with apples.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to bake oatmeal with apples.

You will need:

  • apple - 3-4 pcs.;
  • oat flakes - 175 g;
  • sugar - 80 g;
  • baking powder - 1.5 tsp;
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp;
  • egg - 1 pc.;
  • milk - 300 ml;
  • vegetable oil - 40 ml;
  • nuts - 30 g;
  • dried fruits or berries.

How to cook

1. Immediately turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees and peel and core the apples, then cut into cubes.

2. Peel the nuts, wash the dried fruits, but there is no need to soak the dried fruits.

3. Take regular oatmeal and mix it with apples, add sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nuts, dried fruits, mix everything.

4. In a separate bowl, mix the egg with milk and vegetable oil, pour in the dry ingredients, place in a baking dish, mix and put in the oven.

Bake for 30 minutes. The smell will be very pleasant. You can serve it with berries or ice cream. Enjoy!
