If you have berries lying around in the freezer, there is a great option for using them. They will perfectly complement the dough for muffins.
But if you don’t want the fruit to stain the entire dough, you need to prepare it properly.
How to Make Homemade Berry Muffins
First, you need to calculate the amount of ingredients correctly. To prepare 4 servings, you need to take:
- flour - 240 g;
- milk - 110-120 ml;
- baking powder - 2 tsp;
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- sugar - 200 g;
- butter - 115 g;
- frozen seedless berries - 350 g.
The berries need to be placed in a sieve, rinsed under cold water several times, and then dried using paper towels.
In a separate container, beat the soft butter and sugar with a mixer.
You should get a fluffy foam. Then you can beat the eggs into the mass. Then you need to gradually add milk, a mixture of sifted flour and baking powder into the dough.
It wouldn't hurt to add a pinch of salt to the mixture.
Once the dough is smooth, you can add the berries.
They need to be carefully mixed into the mixture so as not to damage them.
Then the dough should be distributed into the forms. The treat should be baked for about half an hour at 200 degrees.
It is important to take into account that the oven must already be preheated.
