The minced meat is used for cutlets, fillings or making navy-style pasta.
There is another popular dish that children like – meatballs. We will tell you how to cook them with tomato sauce.
You will need:
- minced meat (beef) - 0.5 kg;
- tomatoes - 0.8 kg;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- white onion - 1 pc.;
- basil - 1 pc.;
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- vinegar (balsamic) - 2 tbsp;
- mustard (Dijon) - 2 tsp;
- rosemary, oregano, salt, black pepper to taste.
How to cook
1. Chop the rosemary, mix with mustard and oregano, add the mixture to the mince.
2. Add egg, salt and black pepper, mix, form small meatballs, cool them in the refrigerator.
3. Chop the basil, onion, garlic and chili pepper, fry in vegetable oil over medium heat first the onion, then the garlic, pepper, basil and finally add the peeled tomatoes.
4. When the sauce is ready, add balsamic vinegar and reduce heat.
5. Fry the meatballs in a clean frying pan with vegetable oil for 8-10 minutes, then add the prepared sauce and simmer under the lid.
