You will need:
- flour - 600 g;
- milk - 200 ml;
- eggs - 3 pcs.;
- yeast (dry) - 11 g;
- butter - 70 g;
- sour cream - 100 g;
- sugar - 2 tbsp;
- a pinch of salt;
- poppy seeds, seeds, dried fruits, candied fruits to taste.
How to cook
1. Sift flour, pour boiling water over dried fruits, pour warm milk over yeast and add sugar, beat with a whisk.
2. Add 50 g of flour to the milk mixture, stir and leave the dough in a warm place for half an hour, then add 300 g of flour.
3. Knead the dough and leave it to rise for half an hour in a warm place, then add salt, eggs, butter, and sour cream.
4. Knead the dough, leave it under a towel for 2-3 hours in a warm place, kneading every 30-40 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Prepare a baking tray.
6. Add dried fruits and candied fruits to the dough, knead, weave a kalach, sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
