You don't have to go to a French restaurant if you want to treat yourself to a delicious julienne.
At first glance, it may seem that this is a complicated dish that requires a lot of effort. This is not so.
Don't think that preparing a full and tasty lunch or dinner will take a lot of your time.
If you stick to a simple recipe, you can prepare a delicious julienne with mushrooms and chicken in just half an hour.
Ingredients for julienne
- Chicken fillet, 600 g,
- Champignons, 500 g,
- Onions, 2 pcs.,
- Flour, 1.5 tbsp.,
- Butter, 80 g,
- Cream, 500 ml,
- Cheese, 300 g.
You should also prepare salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil.
How to cook julienne
First, boil the chicken in lightly salted water. Then cool the bird and cut it into small pieces.
The mushrooms and onions must be chopped.
Afterwards, the vegetables need to be fried in vegetable oil.
The onion should be kept on the fire for about four minutes until it becomes transparent, and the champignons should be fried until all the liquid has evaporated. At the end of cooking, such a preparation should be peppered and salted.
In the same frying pan, fry the flour with butter for a minute or two. Then pour in the cream and keep the mixture on the fire until it thickens.
Place the chicken, onions and mushrooms in a baking dish, pour over the resulting sauce, and sprinkle the dish with grated cheese on top.
Julienne should be baked for no more than 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
