As a rule, when preparing homemade potato cake, the list of necessary products necessarily includes cookies.
But, as it turns out, this ingredient is not at all necessary if you have semolina on hand. So, here's what you need to prepare:
- 130 g semolina;
- 3.5 tablespoons cocoa;
- 50 g sugar;
- 60 g butter;
- 180 ml of water.
The butter needs to be melted by throwing it into a frying pan (make sure it doesn’t boil), and then add the cereal.
Mix both ingredients to form crumbs and continue frying for another 5 minutes on medium heat.
At this time, add sugar and 2.5 tablespoons of cocoa to another, deeper bowl and also place it on medium heat.
Mix the dry ingredients, add water and continue stirring until completely dissolved.
Let the chocolate mass boil for about 3 minutes, pour in the semolina crumbs and stir again. Reduce the flame to the minimum and heat the mixture for another 3 minutes, then remove it from the stove.
From the completely cooled mass, roll balls the size of a walnut and leave them in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours, after which it remains to roll the candies in the remaining cocoa and you can try them.
