Those who love hot spices will surely enjoy the preparation prepared according to this recipe.
What is also pleasing is that the whole process will take you no more than 5-10 minutes of active time.
So, according to the recipe, for half a kilo of horseradish roots you will need:
- 190 ml 9% vinegar;
- 25 g salt;
- 25 g sugar.
First, wash and clean the horseradish, then pour boiling water over it for 30 minutes.
After half an hour, drain the water and chop the horseradish in any way available - on a grater or in a food processor.
If you choose the last method – a food processor or blender, you can add a little water. A couple of tablespoons are enough to make the mass more homogeneous.
Now add salt, sugar and vinegar to the chopped horseradish, then beat all the ingredients in a blender again.
All that remains is to place the preparation into pre-sterilized jars, close them with the same sterilized lids and put the preparation away for storage in the refrigerator.
In a month the pickled horseradish will be completely ready.
