Pea porridge can safely be called one of the most useful and affordable dishes, but not all housewives prepare this treat often enough.
The main reason is that it is not always possible to prepare pea porridge of decent quality.
Sometimes the peas "treacherously" do not boil over, remaining hard and not quite appetizing. Sometimes the problem lies in the taste: the porridge turns out not as impressive as we would like.
However, with the right recipe, you can make the perfect dish.
What needs to be done
First, we take the peas themselves and begin to process them under water. We need to thoroughly wash the legume. Then we put the product in a container and pour in water.
It is better to let the peas stand for at least four hours so that there is no need to add soda or use other methods to speed up the cooking of the product.
After some time has passed, you need to wash the peas again and fill them with water so that there is a couple of centimeters more water.
After the water boils, remove the foam. Reduce the heat to a minimum and cook the legume for fifty minutes.
Then you need to fry the onion and add it to the pea porridge five minutes before it is ready. Add a spoonful of curry and salt along with the vegetable.
This porridge will turn out delicious and perfect.
