Garlic shoots have firmly established themselves in kitchens, and many housewives even freeze this ingredient for the winter.
Basically, the unnecessary shoots of this plant are fried in vegetable oil. And this dish opens up from a completely different side if you approach the preparation with imagination.
You can marinate garlic shoots, stew them in a vegetable platter or separately, simply fry them, but it is better to fry them with sour cream.
They say they will taste like mushrooms.
To prepare you will need:
- 450-500 g of arrows;
- 30 g butter;
- 3 tbsp sour cream;
- salt;
- black pepper.
How to cook
For cooking you only need the stem. Cut it into pieces with scissors or a knife.
Discard any yellowed or damaged parts of the stem.
Heat the butter, fry the shoots, stir and cover with a lid.
Cook over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
As soon as the arrows turn brown, add sour cream, salt and pepper.
Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes, but without covering with a lid.
The dish will taste like fried mushrooms and can be served with young boiled potatoes.
Bon appetit!
