Many gardeners, especially those who are just taking their first steps along the thorny path of plant growing, do not know what to do with garlic shoots.
Most often, the unnecessary part of the garlic is simply thrown into the waste bin.
However, the arrows have an amazing taste and are definitely not worth throwing away.
For this reason, we will hasten to share with you a recipe for pickled garlic shoots, which you can enjoy with peace of mind in winter or autumn – for those who are especially impatient.
To do this, in addition to the arrows themselves, you will also need to stock up on carrots and dill.
To prepare the marinade, you need to take the following ingredients:
- 1 l of water;
- 1 tbsp salt;
- 2 tbsp. sugar;
- 3 tbsp. vinegar.
The arrows should be cut into small pieces of arbitrary shape.
You should do the same with the carrots, and then fill the jars with the resulting preparations.
Pour boiling water over the contents of the glass container, let it sit for a while, then drain the water into a saucepan, after which you can begin preparing the marinade.
All that remains is to fill the jars with the resulting marinade and close them with a rolling lid.
