The secret to making a fluffy omelette is very simple: take a tall baking dish and fill it completely with the egg-milk mixture.
If you bake this base in the oven, the omelette will turn out very airy.
The dish will be reminiscent of that same kindergarten dish that many people enjoyed in early childhood.
The problem, however, is that cooking an omelette in the oven takes too much time.
I want the dish to be tall and tender even when cooked on the stove.
Fortunately, there is a way. And the secret is not in some special ratio of components. But in a certain processing... of a frying pan lid.
A Trick to Making an Omelette
Before pouring the egg and milk mixture into the frying pan, you should pour vegetable oil into the pan and add a piece of butter.
An omelette prepared with this mixture will turn out incredibly appetizing.
However, butter should be not only in the frying pan, but also on the lid.
The bottom of the glass device needs to be lubricated with an oily ingredient.
If the omelette is cooked in a closed pan and there is a layer of oil on the inside of the lid, the dish will become airy.
The dish will be tall and tender. And there will be no need to use the oven.
