These carrot and rice cutlets will give any meat a run for its money: they cook in no time

There is probably no need to tell anyone about the benefits of rice and carrots. But what happens if you combine these two products?

That's right: hearty and tasty cutlets that are ideal for lunch or dinner.

So, what you need for this:

  • 1 cup rice;
  • 2 large carrots;
  • 1 large onion;
  • 2-3 eggs;
  • a little flour;
  • salt and ground pepper mixture – to taste.

Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water – do this several times until the water becomes clear.

Boil the cereal in water with added salt until fully cooked and drain in a colander.

The carrots should be peeled and washed, and also boiled in lightly salted water until fully cooked.

Wait until the vegetable cools down, grate it on a medium grater, then mix with boiled rice.

Finely chopped onion should be fried in a hot frying pan with vegetable oil, and then thrown into a plate with the rest of the ingredients, adding flour, eggs, salt and pepper.

After you have mixed everything, form neat cutlets and fry them in vegetable oil on all sides until they are golden brown.
