Lard may look appetizing, but the product itself is disappointing in its toughness.
"Rubbery" lard is quite common. But it is very easy to improve the quality of the product.
Hard lard
The easiest way, which does not require extra costs, and the result can be obtained almost instantly.
A hard piece of lard is placed in a saucepan and then filled with water. The container is placed on the fire and brought to a boil.
Boil the lard for 5-10 minutes, but no more. Then it remains to cool the product. After boiling, you can treat it not only with salt, but also with pepper - red or black. You will get something similar to lard.
Onion peel
There is another interesting option. It is similar to the first, but with an addition. Take a suitable pan, pour water and add salt.
Next, put onion peels from 5-7 onions into the water. Bring the liquid to a boil, and then place a hard piece of lard into it.
The product is kept in boiling water for no more than 10 minutes, and then allowed to cool. Pepper or other spices are used for lard.
