Vegetables from old supplies do not taste like fresh harvest. This applies equally to potatoes and other fruits, including cabbage.
If you need to cook something from old cabbage stocks, and nothing original comes to mind, you can try baking pancakes.
To prepare you will need:
- 600 g cabbage;
- 1 tsp salt;
- 1 onion;
- 2 tbsp flour;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- vegetable oil;
- black pepper.
How to cook
The cabbage needs to be washed, cut and shredded into thin strips.
Then fill the pan with water. Bring to a boil and put the chopped leaves in it and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Then we throw the contents into a colander, wait until the water drains, peel the onion, cut it and fry it in a frying pan with vegetable oil.
Mix cabbage and fried onions, add salt and pepper, flour and 2 chicken eggs.
Mix thoroughly and let the dough sit, then heat the pan and start baking the pancakes in vegetable oil.
Fry on both sides and serve with sour cream.
