  • beef – 500 g;
  • onion – 1 pc.;
  • carrots – 1 pc.;
  • celery – 1 sprig;
  • quince – 2 pcs.;
  • vegetable oil – 50 ml;
  • thyme - a pinch;
  • salt – to taste.

How to prepare

1. Cut the meat, carrots, celery and onion into small cubes. Place the frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove and heat it up. Then fry the meat and vegetables.

2. Peel the quince, cut it and place it in the pan with the other ingredients. Fill the pan with water so that it completely covers them. At this point, add salt and spices to the pan.

3. Simmer the meat and vegetables under a lid for about an hour on low heat. Monitor the amount of liquid, if it becomes less, add more.

4. The vegetables and quince will be mashed into a puree, and the beef will become soft and tender.
