An easy way to make syrniki: grandma's recipe

For many, syrniki are a dish that is associated with childhood memories, and there should be no mistakes here.

Just one extra ingredient added and everything goes awry. And to always get it just like grandma's recipe, you need to give up just one ingredient.

Besides extra flour, extra sugar can also spoil the cheesecakes.

But in this regard, sugar is even more dangerous. When heated, it begins to melt and the cheesecakes spread across the pan almost before your eyes.

To prepare you will need:

  • 1 kg of cottage cheese (5% fat);
  • 150 g flour;
  • 1 egg;
  • 100 ml vegetable oil;
  • 50 g powdered sugar;
  • a pinch of salt.

How to cook

The cottage cheese needs to be mashed and, if necessary, rubbed through a metal sieve. This will make the mass less grainy and more uniform, which will have a positive effect on the texture of the syrniki.

Then add salt and powdered sugar to the cottage cheese to taste and mix thoroughly.

Next, add the egg, sift the flour and mix the mixture with a spoon or by hand.

As soon as the mass becomes homogeneous, form the cheesecakes, bread them in flour and fry on both sides.

Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar or with sour cream and jam.
