We'll tell you how long you can store the most popular fruits and vegetables after freezing.
Vegetables
The vegetables that keep the longest are pumpkin, beetroot, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, and celery.
Sweet peppers become even more useful after freezing, but they can be stored for no more than 4 months, just like tomatoes.
White cabbage, zucchini and squash, peas and corn are stored for 8 months
Fruits and berries
With fruits, things are more complicated, because many of them contain water, which means that after defrosting they lose their shape and taste.
The longest you can store cranberries is up to 1 year.
Bananas can be stored in the freezer for 8 months, apricots and cherries for 6 months, and apples and peaches for 4 months.
