You can dress salads with more than just the usual mayonnaise.

Instead, you can prepare sauce options based on kefir, mayonnaise, fermented baked milk... The list is long, so let's get straight to the point.

So, below you will find as many as 3 salad dressing recipes that will help diversify your favorite dish.

1. Yolk paste

To prepare this dressing, which, by the way, can also be used as a spread for sandwiches, you should hard-boil an egg. Separate the yolk from the white – you won’t need the latter – and mash the yolk with a tablespoon of sour cream.

All that remains is to add salt and soft butter to taste.

2. Horseradish and Herb Seasoning

If you use this dressing, you don't need to add any greens to the salad.

So, to prepare it, you will need to mix 2 tablespoons of grated horseradish root, 2 tablespoons of sour cream, and a teaspoon of lemon juice.

All that remains is to add finely chopped basil, dill and parsley, after which you can add pepper to your taste, and the sauce is considered ready.

3. Sour cream and garlic sauce

This sauce is suitable not only for salads, but also for shawarma, and can even be used as a standalone dish.

Wash and dry dill, chop finely and mix with 5-6 cloves of garlic passed through a press. Add 0.5 cups of kefir, 1 cup of sour cream to the resulting mass, mix and salt to taste.

Please note: if the sauce is to be served separately, it should be refrigerated for 1-2 hours before serving.
