Potatoes are usually fried with onions and that's to taste. No other vegetables are added, while it's worth trying to cook potatoes with zucchini.
To prepare you will need:
- 500 g potatoes;
- 200 grams of zucchini (preferably zucchini);
- 100 g onion;
- 5 g garlic;
- 30 ml vegetable oil;
- salt, pepper - to taste.
How to cook
The potatoes are peeled, cut into strips, washed, dried on a towel and fried in vegetable oil over medium heat.
While the potatoes are frying, peel the onion and cut it into half rings. Add the onion to the pan when the potatoes are browned and fry, stirring, for 4-5 minutes.
Zucchini is cut like potatoes – into strips, added to the potatoes and fried for 2-3 minutes, then the pan is covered with a lid, the heat is reduced and it is cooked for 4-5 minutes.
Lastly, add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, then serve.
