Of the legendary Soviet salads, modern housewives can probably name only mimosa, Olivier, and herring under a fur coat.
Few people remember the salad called Passenger, much less how to prepare it.
To prepare you will need:
- 400 g liver (chicken),
- 2 tbsp flour,
- ½ medium onion,
- 1 pc. carrot,
- 2 eggs,
- 2 pickles,
- 2 tbsp butter,
- mayonnaise, pepper and salt.
How to cook
The liver needs to be cut into small pieces, rolled in flour and fried in butter for 10 minutes, then add salt and pepper.
The onion is cut into half rings, the carrots are grated on a coarse grater and fried in butter.
Boil the eggs until hard and cut into cubes.
Next, cut or grate the pickles, put the ingredients in a bowl, mix, and season with mayonnaise.
The salad can be prepared for every day, and in the event that you absolutely need to surprise your guests at the festive table. Before serving, do not forget to cool it a little in the refrigerator.
