Many housewives are sure that when preparing Korean-style carrots, you can’t do without a special grater.

However, if you don’t have such an “accessory” at hand, don’t despair.

Two tools that are sure to be found in every kitchen will help you successfully cope with cutting the orange root vegetable.

We are talking about a sharp knife and a simple vegetable peeler.

The peeled and washed root vegetables should be cut into thin plates (slices) using a vegetable peeler. In doing so, it is important to follow an important rule - you should move from the thin end to the thick one.

If you come across long fruits, you can cut them in half.

Now it's time to take a knife with a well-sharpened blade and cut the thin slices into strips.

By the way, if you don’t have a vegetable peeler, take a close look at your grater – the side with holes for shredding cabbage will work for slicing carrots.
