Something needs to be done with the cabbage harvest, and when the bins are still full of sauerkraut, the only thing left to do is to stew, fry or bake the vegetable in pies.
There is another interesting recipe, interest in which increases during the celebration of Maslenitsa. In addition, cabbage remains healthy no matter how you cook it.
To prepare you will need:
- 200 g cabbage (white cabbage);
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tbsp sour cream;
- 1/2 bunch green onions;
- 1/2 bunch of dill;
- 4 tbsp flour;
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil;
- paprika, spices, salt - to taste.
How to cook
Finely chop the cabbage, salt it and knead it with your hands, then mix it with raw eggs and add sour cream.
The greens need to be finely chopped and added to the prepared mixture along with salt, spices and seasonings.
Then all the ingredients are mixed and you can sift the flour. The dough should be quite thick.
Bake the pancakes in a well-heated frying pan with vegetable oil. Do not put too much dough. This will make it easier to turn the pancakes over, and they will not be so dense.
Cook over medium heat until browned. Turn over with a wide spatula, otherwise the cabbage pancake may tear.
It is best served with sour cream or another creamy sauce.
