When you're tired of porridge for breakfast and don't want to mess around with potato pancakes, you can make cabbage pancakes.
This dish requires less hassle, but it is just as filling as porridge with sausages or jam.
The list of products consists of:
- head of cabbage (small) – 1 pc.;
- carrots – 1 pc.;
- parsley – ¼ bunch;
- eggs – 5 pcs.;
- flour – 3-4 tablespoons;
- water – 50 ml;
- salt and black pepper (ground).
Preparation
1. Chop the cabbage and carrots. You should get thin strips.
2. Place the vegetables in a deep bowl. Add 1 egg, flour and water. Salt, pepper and mix the mixture.
3. Next it is the turn of the remaining 4 eggs. Separate the yolks from the whites.
4. Form pancakes from the dough and place them on a well-heated frying pan. While the mass has not set, make holes in the middle, into which the yolk is poured.
5. Fry the pancakes on both sides until done and serve with your favorite sauce.
