Word of mouth from housewives tells the story of how dangerous it is to boil eggs in a microwave oven. There is really little that is pleasant.
But this does not mean that you can't cook eggs in the microwave. You can, and how! Poached, omelette, you can even cook them hard-boiled or soft-boiled according to the classic recipe.
Here's how to do it right.
1. Eggs are boiled in a microwave oven only in glass or ceramic dishes.
2. Open the door only after the appliance has switched off and a beep has sounded.
3. And cook only in water, not dry.
How to hard boil
Take a container or bowl of suitable volume, pour boiling water and add 0.5 tsp. of salt. There should be enough water to completely cover the eggs.
Then cover the container with a microwave lid.
The device is turned on at 600 W, and the timer is started for 5 minutes if you need to boil hard-boiled eggs, and for 3 minutes if you need to boil soft-boiled eggs.
Cook without shells
This is how you can prepare breakfast in just 2 minutes. Pour a glass of boiling water into a bowl or cup, break an egg into it so as not to break the yolk.
The microwave is turned on for 2 minutes, and the power is set to 850 W.
