If you love liver but are tired of fried liver, try serving it as a salad.
The authors of the recipe are confident that this dish will appeal to even those who usually turn up their noses at this product.
So, you will need:
- 500 g beef liver;
- 2 medium sized carrots;
- 2 medium onions;
- 3-4 salted (pickled) cucumbers;
- mayonnaise - for dressing;
- salt – to taste.
The liver needs to be boiled in water with salt added. After the main ingredient for the salad has cooled, grate it on a coarse grater.
Alternatively, the liver can be cut into strips, but this, as they say, is a matter of taste.
The onion should be finely chopped and fried in vegetable oil until transparent.
Add grated carrots here and do not remove the pan from the heat until the vegetables are ready, then turn off the stove and wait until they cool.
During this time, you can cut the cucumbers into thin strips or chop them using the same grater.
All that remains is to combine all the salad ingredients together, add salt and season with mayonnaise.
