The most common problem that all housewives, without exception, encounter when opening a jar of tomato paste is the mold that appears on its surface over time.
To avoid having to throw away an open jar from which you only used a couple of spoons, it is better to store the paste like this.
First, carefully open both lids of the tin can with a can opener.
The top lid must be removed and the entire container should be covered with cling film.
In this form, the jar of tomato paste must be placed in the freezer overnight.
After 12 hours, take the tomato paste out of the freezer. All you have to do is press the paste so that it is in the film.
Now you can cut off the required amount of paste from the bar and place the rest back on the freezer shelf for storage.
In this form, the necessary ingredient for preparing borscht, cabbage rolls, pizza and other dishes can be stored for up to three months.
