It is believed that it is impossible to cook a fluffy omelette in a frying pan with additives or fillings, no matter how hard you try.
What can I say if it's an omelette with zucchini, and also with milk. This means that there will be 1.5 times more liquid in it than in the usual case. Chefs assure that this is not so.
To prepare you will need:
- 4-5 eggs,
- 150 ml milk,
- 200 g zucchini,
- vegetable oil,
- salt and spices to taste.
How to cook
The zucchini needs to be washed and dried, the skin and seeds removed, and the flesh cut into small cubes.
Then heat the vegetable oil and fry the zucchini with a little salt.
Separate the whites from the yolks and beat the whites separately with a mixer until foam forms.
Mix the yolks with milk, spices and salt until smooth.
Then carefully pour this mixture into the protein foam, stirring with a fork, after which pour everything into the frying pan and cook over medium heat under the lid for 2 minutes.
Then reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
During this time, the omelette should rise, which means it can be removed from the heat and served.
