Why you shouldn't force too many clubs and groups on your child: you risk raising a lazy person

Everyone around us talks about how important it is to develop a child. That's probably why parents sometimes think that the more clubs a child attends, the better.

As a result, the child is engaged in dancing, English, swimming and other interesting things. Modern children simply do not have time to want anything, because they are sent to developmental classes before they have motivation.

Excessively high number of exercises can lead to mental overload, which, in turn, can lead to a reluctance to exercise at all.

In the future, parents may face childhood “burnout” – when the child does not want anything.

Observe your son or daughter. If you see that they have difficulty waking up in the morning, are often capricious, demonstrate aggression, try to reduce the load, prioritizing what the child wants.

It is important for children to spend time playing, and free play is not the same as learning through play.

According to modern teachers and psychologists, it is not worth canceling all additional classes at once.

At 2-3 years old, 1-2 additional classes per week are acceptable, at 3-4 years old – more, but even in adolescence their number should not be more than 4 per week.

Otherwise, you risk creating an excessive load, which in the future will lead to the child not wanting to do anything at all, and he will consider laziness the best activity.
