Researchers classify children born between 2010 and 2024 as the so-called Alpha generation.
They are also called “digital” – this is due to the fact that they, one might say, have been actively using digital technologies practically from birth.
What awaits the Alpha generation
Children of Generation Alpha are growing up in a period of developing artificial intelligence, which is already widely used in various areas of life. For example, many people use smart home capabilities, control speakers with their voice, and turn on and off lights by clapping their hands.
It is likely that these children will witness events that are difficult for us to imagine now.
Experts estimate that two-thirds of children who are currently learning to walk will be employed in jobs that do not yet exist. This is because technology is advancing so rapidly that it is difficult to even guess what kind of specialists will be needed to service it.
Digital kids mature faster than children of the same age from previous generations. These kids absorb new knowledge like sponges and master new skills just as quickly.
Very soon the time will come when children will start teaching their parents, showing them how to use new technologies.
Generation Alpha is getting to know programming early, starting their own blogs, creating online games, etc. All of these skills are developing at an exciting rate.
