Many parents are sure that until the very beginning of school, the child should rest and not touch the textbooks.

Others spend the summer helping their children master areas they've been struggling with.

Some agree that it is necessary to review the material at least a couple of weeks before the start of classes.

Is it really worth doing this?

If you want the beginning of the educational process not to become stressful for the child, then it is worth spending time on repeating the material. Without such adaptation, switching to the process of receiving will be extremely difficult.

During the remaining time, it is recommended to refresh your knowledge of the subjects studied.

This should be done gently and unobtrusively.

You shouldn't start the learning process too actively: after all, children need to rest. Particular attention should be paid to important subjects so that there are no difficulties in the new school year. Children, of course, will not be delighted with such news: they want to rest until the end of the holidays.

Therefore, explain to your child the importance of the decision you have made, so that it will be easier for him to decide on this step.
