Water is the ideal drink for children of any age. However, sometimes parents want to offer their child something more interesting and tasty.

Compotes and fruit drinks
Compotes and fruit drinks from fruits and berries can be offered to babies from eight months. The daily norm of the drink for a one-year-old child is 100 ml.
When preparing drinks, do not use sugar, citrus or exotic fruits.
Herbal teas (for children)
If you want to treat your little one to herbal tea, buy a special baby drink and follow the instructions on the package. In addition, you should definitely consult a doctor before starting the intake.
Some teas can be given at four months. A one-year-old baby can drink up to 100 ml of herbal tea per day.
Juices
After introducing all the main types of complementary foods, the baby can be offered juice, as a rule, this happens around the eighth month.
It is recommended to start with clear juices such as apple and pear, and then gradually introduce juices with pulp, which are more beneficial. Citrus juice should be given last.
Before giving the juice to a child, it is better to dilute it with water by half. Do not exceed the dose of 100 ml per day until the child reaches one year of age.
