Let's imagine a situation: a child starts to have a tantrum.
For some reason, the baby is screaming and crying loudly. Perhaps someone has offended him. Perhaps the child is upset because his parents refused to buy him an expensive toy.
No requests or persuasions help mom and dad calm their child.
What to do in such a situation? It turns out that there is one small but effective psychological trick that allows you to instantly stop almost any child hysteria.
To do this, you need to ask the child one simple question.
What parents should ask their child
Mom and Dad should approach the crying baby and ask him the following question: “What color are your clothes?”
For some reason, many young children instantly calm down when they hear this phrase.
Why does this happen? Most likely, the child stops crying because he is simply distracted by studying the things he is wearing and forgets about the problem he recently encountered.
The child himself becomes interested in what color his blouse, overalls or any other item of clothing is.
But try not to use this technique too often, otherwise the baby will eventually understand that they are trying to distract him. And then the psychological trick will completely lose its effectiveness.
