Smartphone addiction develops equally in children and adults.
It is possible to fight this scourge, but if we are talking about children and parents, then it is best to act together, and here is why.
British scientists conducted research and compiled a number of recommendations that will help children and parents avoid wars over gadgets.
First advice
It is useless to fight a child’s addiction if the parent himself does not notice how at any moment he is immersed in the “deep” world of the smartphone.
Tip two
If the problem exists, then designate areas in your home where special rules will apply that prohibit the use of the gadget. At a minimum, this should be the kitchen or dining room, as well as mealtimes, the bedroom, and then at your discretion.
You also cannot use your smartphone while talking to family members, even if the correspondence is strictly business.
Third piece of advice
It is necessary to provide for liability for violation of the established rules. Equally severe and fair for all family members.
Fourth advice
Tell your children why it is important to turn off app notifications on their device. App developers abuse this to remind them once again about the opportunity to visit a website or play their favorite game.
Tip number five
The "one screen" rule must be in effect. That is, if the TV is on, then the smartphone should not be in your hands. And so on.
Don't forget that, having lost the opportunity to hang out in front of a gadget screen, a child, and an adult too, should have some healthy alternative.
