Each child is different in their abilities, interests and development. But there is a small group of children who have amazing intelligence. How do you know if your baby is a little genius?
What is genius?
Genius is a concept that is difficult to define unambiguously.
Psychologists talk about geniuses as people with an IQ above 180. But even in childhood, signs of genius appear.
Such children often have:
• Unusual creativity: They see the world in their own way and find unconventional solutions.
• Curiosity: They are interested in everything around them and strive to learn as much as possible.
• Ability to learn quickly: They absorb new information instantly.
• Desire to delve into details: They are not limited to superficial knowledge, they want to understand deeper.
Signs of genius in children
While there is no definitive list of signs of genius, there are a number of traits that are most often found in children with exceptional intellectual abilities:
1. Strong desire for mental development: They are constantly looking for new challenges and activities that can develop their minds.
2. Quick acquisition of new information: They learn new concepts and ideas easily and quickly.
3. Lots of questions: They always ask a lot of questions in an attempt to understand the world around them.
4. Interest in more complex tasks: They prefer to learn and play tasks that are usually reserved for older children.
5. Emotional sensitivity: Geniuses often respond more emotionally to the events around them.
6. Inventiveness and creativity: They can find unconventional solutions to problems.
7. Self-awareness: They have a well-developed understanding of themselves and social relationships.
Helping a little genius
If you notice these signs in your child, it is important to support his or her pursuit of mental development.
Provide him with access to a variety of knowledge and experiences, help him find answers to his many questions, and develop his unique abilities.
