Motion sickness is the result of a malfunction of the vestibular apparatus.
It is believed that children under two years of age do not suffer from motion sickness, but practice shows that even a child in the first year of life can suffer from motion sickness.
The first signs of motion sickness
You can tell that something is wrong with your baby by his appearance.
You should be concerned if your child turns pale from time to time, starts to behave restlessly, sweats, and exhibits increased salivation.
What to do if your baby gets motion sick
As soon as you notice the first signs of motion sickness described above, stop the car.
Take your baby out into the fresh air and walk a little.
You can offer your child water with a few drops of lemon juice added (if he is not allergic).
If possible, wash the child, if not, wipe his face with wet wipes (unscented). You can put a wet compress on the forehead.
You can also try using essential oils - put a few drops of peppermint essential oil on a handkerchief or baby clothes.
Earlier we talked about how to teach a child to eat vegetables .
