For a good night's sleep, the room temperature should be 19-21 degrees.

This advice was given by Russian somnologist Pavel Kudinov.

An expert told RIA Novosti how to improve the quality of sleep.

As the somnologist explained, before going to bed it is necessary to ventilate the room, the air in the room should be fresh.

The temperature for sleeping is 19-21 degrees, Kudinov specified.

He also advised leaving the bedroom door open. This is especially true if a person does not sleep alone.

Otherwise, the expert explained, by morning there would be almost no oxygen left in the room.

Lack of oxygen, in turn, can lead to headaches and a sore throat.

Additionally, you can improve the quality of your sleep by using a weighted blanket.

Such blankets, the somnologist noted, are mainly used to treat hyperactive children.

As for the pillow, according to the doctor, preference should be given to products made from artificial materials.
