Many people like to decorate their home with a live Christmas tree so that during the holidays it is filled with a pleasant pine aroma.
In this case, a special atmosphere is created.
But if you brought home a live tree and you are bothered by allergy symptoms, then it is better to replace the tree with an artificial one.
The symptoms were listed by Dr. Kiki Soteri, reports the Express publication.
The doctor explained that if an allergy starts, then coughing, runny nose, sneezing start to bother you. In addition, discomfort in the eyes may begin.
These are all signs of mold and pollen stains that can linger in the tree. Soteri also added that the tree may contain dust mites, which can also trigger an allergic reaction.
If you want to protect yourself, but don’t want to give up a living plant, you should first wash and dry the tree before bringing it into the house.
