Caffeine is a real stimulant of the nervous system, which temporarily turns off fatigue and allows you to get a boost of energy.

In moderate quantities, drinks that provide this element are beneficial.

But if you overdo it, you may encounter problems with your health.

Doctor Ekaterina Kashukh spoke about this in more detail, reports pravda.ru .

The specialist noted that you cannot drink more than 400 mg per day. This means that you can drink no more than 5 cups of coffee or 10 cups of tea per day.

If an overdose occurs, tremors, chills, headaches may begin to bother you. In addition, nausea, dizziness, convulsions and diarrhea are possible.

Kashukh also noted that a person who regularly and in large quantities consumes caffeine runs the risk of experiencing insomnia.

In cases where a person has certain health problems, more serious consequences are possible.
