Some indoor plants not only purify the air in the room, but also reduce the risk of developing cancer.
Russian oncologist Inna Egorova spoke about this in an interview with the portal solenka.info.
What plants reduce the risk of cancer
As Egorova explained, some indoor flowers are capable of purifying the air from carcinogens such as formaldehyde and benzene.
The first is emitted by furniture that has defects, the second is released into the room with outside air polluted by exhaust gases.
To prevent cancer, the doctor advises planting spathiphyllum, dwarf palm, devil's ivy or yellowish dipsis at home.
All of the above plants are unpretentious and do not require special care.
