A large sip of hot tea, coffee or any other drink, taken carelessly, can remind you of itself for a long time with unpleasant painful sensations.
If the lesion is minor and medical assistance is not needed, you can get by with folk remedies, of which there are many for this case.
However, the title of the most delicious of them can rightfully be given to the method using sugar.
All you need to do is place a spoonful of sugar in your mouth and hold it there until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Please note: this option will help if the burn is still “fresh”.
Other ways to relieve pain include rinsing your mouth with cool salt water.
To prepare it, mix half a teaspoon of salt in a glass of water. In addition to the fact that the salted liquid helps with pain, it also acts as a preventative against infections.
Remember: you cannot use solutions containing alcohol to rinse your mouth after a burn. Also, avoid hot food and drinks, citrus fruits, spicy and hard foods for a couple of days after the injury.
