As the doctor explained, tangerines are rich in vitamin C and are an important element of a healthy diet.
But if you overdo it with the fruit, it can lead to an allergic reaction and also put a lot of strain on the excretory system.
In addition, as Zaletova noted, such fruits can irritate the gastric mucosa, which means that gastritis may worsen.
The doctor added that it is safe for health to eat no more than 500 grams of tangerines per day.
However, you should not eat them on an empty stomach or in such quantities at once; the daily norm of the product should be spread out over the entire day.
