The sponge used for washing dishes is perhaps the dirtiest item in the whole house.
This is why you should not forget about the need for regular replacement of this product.
But what if you just took a new sponge out of the package, but it's already covered in dough or grease? You can't throw what's essentially a new thing in the trash!
In this case, a dishwasher will come to the rescue.
Place the sponge on the top rack of the dishwasher and add the capsule, then select the highest wash temperature and heated dry setting.
After all these procedures, the sponge will literally be like new.
But even if you don't have a dishwasher, you can always use an alternative method using vinegar.
Fill a small container with water and dilute table vinegar in it, then leave the foam sponge to soak for 7-10 minutes.
All that remains is to rinse and dry the product, after which it can be used again.
Earlier it became known why some housewives use a scouring pad instead of a dish sponge.
