The demand for lemons increases many times in autumn and winter. Having bought the fruit, you need to be able to preserve it.

The problem is that lemons can dry out and become moldy even in the refrigerator. When cut, the fruit can absorb foreign odors.

The housewives were told how to properly store citrus fruits so that they stay fresh for a long time.

Where to store

The best place is in the refrigerator. Here, the whole fruit can last for more than a month, if you maintain a constant temperature of no more than +5 degrees Celsius.

At room temperature, the citrus fruit will last a maximum of two weeks. The higher the room temperature, the more actively the fruit dries.
