It is better to use other means if it is:

3. Shoes with metal inserts or rivets
Metal elements can damage the washing machine.
4. Shoes with rubber or plastic soles
Rubber or plastic soles can be damaged when washed in a washing machine, especially if they have not been pre-cleaned of dirt and dust.
5. Shoes with high heels or platforms
Such models may be unstable when washed in a washing machine and damage the washing machine or the shoes themselves.
6. Shoes that require special care
