Grease stains appear very quickly on a white tablecloth. And this is an inevitable phenomenon, because the product is used to cover the dining table.

Unfortunately, the stains that appear are not always washed off properly.

However, this does not mean that it is impossible to return the tablecloth to its snow-white state.

On the contrary, the product can be easily freed from yellow stains if it is subjected to simple “treatment” before washing.

Any of the following remedies will come to the aid of the hostess.

Dishwashing liquid

Yellow stains on the tablecloth are nothing more than traces of grease.

And a product that removes greasy deposits from plates helps to remove such stains from fabric items.

The tablecloth should be placed in a basin of water to which a little dishwashing liquid has been added.

If the soaking continues for 5-8 hours, the fat will most likely be dissolved. The "treated" yellowed tablecloth can be safely sent to the drum of the washing machine: then the housewife will take out a snow-white thing.

Citric acid

You can use lemon juice in a similar way. For a liter of clean liquid - 5 tablespoons of the product.

Soaking for two hours in the prepared solution will be enough to ensure that the tablecloth is fully prepared for a full wash.

Laundry soap

Don't forget about the old but proven methods. Laundry soap is an ideal product for removing greasy stains.

The damp tablecloth should be hung on a drying rack above the bathtub. The soiled areas of the product should be thoroughly soaped.

After 2-3 hours, you can start hand washing the item. Or you can rinse the item and put it in the washing machine.
