Expensive Powders Won't Help: Here's What Will Restore Softness to Your Towels

Salt

To return the former softness and tenderness to the products, you need to use salt. Just a few tablespoons of the product will return the towel its lost qualities.

Fill a basin with 5 liters of warm water and dissolve 3 tablespoons of salt in it. Soak the towels in the resulting liquid for 2-3 hours.

Then the item is rinsed and sent to the washing machine. After washing, the towels are hung on the balcony, but not in direct sunlight. When ironing, use a steamer.

Vinegar

If towels lose their softness due to hard water, vinegar neutralizes its harmful effects. After washing, rinse the items in a solution of ½ cup vinegar per 10 liters of water.
