There is another way to store green onions in the freezer, thanks to which they will not lose their flavor for a long time.
A thick crust of ice and a watery taste will not suit anyone, but this is exactly the result of storing onions in a bag.
1. First, the greens need to be washed well and then dried on a towel.
2. When the moisture has gone, you can chop the onion. After that, the greens are again left on a paper towel to absorb excess juice.
3. Next, prepare a container for freezing. At the same time, you need to take a plastic bottle. It should be clean and dry. Volume - 0.5 l.
4. Then pour the chopped onion inside using a funnel. Leave 5 cm of free space on top. Screw the cork on and send the bottle with greens to be stored in the freezer.
When stored this way, the onions will remain green, aromatic, crumbly and free of ice.
